StudentCivicWorks brings university and high-school students together to identify community needs, listen to local voices and create civic technology projects that respond to what they discover.
Field Notes follows the students’ process—from initial conversations and research through app development, testing, reflection and public presentation.
The program begins with a University of Oregon student studio in Fall 2026, continues at Roosevelt High School in Portland in Winter 2027, and concludes with dissemination and public presentation in Spring 2027.
